You did it! Made it through the winter and the messy storms that late winter brought to so many parts of the country!
And now you are ready to be out and about! Before you go out, don’t forget to check those mystery shopping job boards.
In a recent post we spoke about reading your all emails from mystery shopping companies to be sure you aren’t missing out on money-making opportunities.
Another way to be sure you are viewing as many mystery shopping assignments in your area as possible is to check out the job board on each of your mystery shopping company web pages.
Most mystery shopping providers use a scheduling software system that provides a job board where all of their open shops are listed. And even if they have their own, private system, there is typically an “Open Assignments” tab there as well.
On a spreadsheet, keep a list of all the links to log in pages of mystery shopping and scheduling companies with whom you have registered.
Once a week, and especially the first and last weeks of the month when schedulers are anxious to fill shops, go down the list, click on a link, log into the site and see what mystery shopping assignments are listed on that board.
Apply or not, and then move on to the next company. Dedicate about a half hour one or two days a week to this effort, and you are sure to find shops you might not otherwise have noticed.
Keep in mind places you may be traveling to, or through! Why not pick up a lunch shop on your way to visit Aunt Mary? Even better, pick her up and take her with you!
Also, regularly check into the boards, forums and on the Facebook pages of mystery shopping companies, and within the social media groups dedicated to mystery shopping.
These are gold mines for shoppers who are looking for more work. You’ll likely find a mystery shopping company or two for whom you’ve never shopped.
It’s Spring! Get out and about – but make sure you are making money as you go on your way.
With an efficient, easy to use system you’ll be on your way in no time!
Where do you look first when you are looking for shops (other than email)? We’d love to know!
