With the summer ‘officially’ underway – schedules are now officially upended as kids (and teachers!) are out of school, the 4th of July holiday gives us a long weekend – and half the world, it seems, takes off the rest of the week. Day trips, summer camp and long-lighted evenings all make for summer fun.
Isn’t it fun? Some might say it is, but it’s expensive.
With almost half of all Americans taking summer vacations, visiting historic sites and parks and participating in water sports and swimming activities, there is a LOT going on.
The businesses that make this all happen care about the service you receive! And they mystery shop!
You can easily combine keeping your children busy this summer and keeping your bank account intact with a little planning and mystery shopping.
There are shops for amusement parks, historic sites, trampoline centers, and zip line adventures. Even if they don’t pay you above a reimbursement – look at how much you can save for family fun. (And keep track of the miles for tax purposes!)
Ice cream treats, boardwalk eateries and casual dining restaurants – fun places to share with friends and family – and meals you would likely be eating anyway – all while being paid for some or all of your meal.
There are resort vacation and overnight hotel stays that pay you for one night or sometimes your entire stay!
Make sure your automobile is ready for the ride (average 284 miles one-way!) with oil change, gas station and carwash shops!
All of these are available to you right now, in practically any state in the country, from a multitude of mystery shopping companies.
Start to add it up! Gas, entrance fees, meals and a night away! If you could be reimbursed for even half of these activities, wouldn’t it help your family? And your mystery shopping business?
It takes a bit of effort – checking job boards at various companies, looking at due dates, and coordinating a route, but it can be done.
If you aren’t sure where these shops are, we suggest you go to board such as www.mysteryshopforum.com or the various FB page for mystery shoppers. You can even ask the question on our page – and shoppers who are signed up with these companies will be sure to point you in the right direction.
Make the summer fun and keep your wallet filled! Use your skills as a mystery shopper to make money while vacationing!
